Sales Development Representative

Looking to get into tech sales? As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will prospect, qualify, and generate opportunities to support the overall growth of the business, and will contact senior business executives and technical buyers. FairMarkIT is dedicated to providing ongoing one-on-one personal training and coaching, where you will have the opportunity to develop skills in all aspects of sales: prospecting, messaging, communication, and ultimately join the ranks of the world class sales team that we are building. This is an inside sales role out of our Boston, MA office and requires no travel.

Business Development Representative

Companies over 500 people, have large historical and antiquated processes in place. FairMarkIT is using technology to reinvent how companies with products/services under 100k. For too long enterprises have gone to the same staples rep or spent hours online searching through catalogs for items.

FaiMarkIT fundamentally changes the game. Our software automates, analyzes and predicts their purchases. Think of it as a buy it now buttons on Amazon, but for large companies buying everything from train parts to computer monitors.

About the Role-

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Work with a welcoming, highly motivated, and growing sales team to drive meaningful results.
• Develop a deep understanding of the company’s solutions and products, closely follow industry trends, and build key client relationships
• Use our CRM to identify the contacts and firms most engaged with our offerings
• Engage directly with prospects to qualify their needs including understanding the prospects current systems, workflows, internal teams, and how it relates to our offerings.
• Assist other team members with key deliverables throughout the entire sales process.
• Drive attendance and conduct follow-ups for all events Fairmarkit attends or sponsors or produces (e.g. trade shows, webinars)
• Provide accurate weekly forecasts on new prospects.
• Gain valuable experience selling to real people, while growing your professional network.

Head of Customer Experience

FairMarkit, is a recently funded software startup located in the leather district. We’re transforming procurement and looking for someone who’s willing to dive in head first and work their tail off.

You will be responsible for ensuring FairMarkIT’s customer satisfaction, realized value, and longevity. High levels of customer satisfaction and realized return on investment will lead to strong customer advocacy, renewal rates, and growth through expansion. The head of Customer Success will be our customer’s ambassador working closely with Sales, Support, Product, Marketing and Engineering to ensure optimal customer experience. Key measures will be Net Promoter Scores/Customer Satisfaction, Customer Churn and Upsell/Cross Sell on our renewals.

Responsibilities:
• Building, hiring and developing our customer success team.
• Upselling the current customer base.
• Being a jack of all trades: as an early stage startup, it’s all hands on deck.
• Define the stages and key measures for optimal customer success
• Promote customer satisfaction and loyalty by demonstrating an understanding of their critical business issues and needs while delivering products and services that help them meet their business objectives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
• Design and facilitate customer programs that keep customers apprised of FairMarkIT’s recent developments as well as continuous reporting on customer engagement
• Educate customers on the use and benefits of FairMarkIT’s solutions
• Work closely with FairMarkIT’s engineering teams to ensure a consistently positive customer experience by providing escalation and management for issues and initiatives.
• Serve as a customer advocate while capturing customer’s feedback and reporting requests to Engineering & the Executive team.
• Prepare, schedule, and conduct quarterly account reviews; maintain an accurate record of discussions and action items
• Efficiently manage time to focus on essential activities to ensure customer satisfaction, account renewal, and account growth.

Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree required
• 5 years customer facing role
• experience customer facing in enterprise software, ideally procurement
• demonstrated capacity to engage several departments within a client org
• Knows how to turn customer feedback into product improvements
• Experience building and executing strategic plans
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Quota carrying sales or renewal role
• Experience working with cross-functional sales teams
• Project Management skills

Role:
-Create and manage social media postings.
-Perform social listening and engage with active users.
-Write fun and unique blog content.
-Contact and engage guest bloggers and media.
-Work on analytics projects to improve blog content and strategy.
-Assist with photo shoots, from scheduling to staging and styling.

Requirements:
-Currently pursuing a degree
-Able to commit to 10+ hours a week.
-Have fantastic writing and communication skills.
-Well versed in social media marketing techniques, Hootsuite experience a plus.
-Understanding of the industry and our business’s mission
